Lightburn moves job start point to far front left corner of the laser even when we set origin to start at corner of project. We have tried numerous things to fix and nothing works. When we hit frame it frames the project perfectly. But when we start it takes the laser way off the project to far front left corner of our platform.

Share your current full-screen snapshot, showing the workspace, Cuts / Layers and Laser windows as I show below. Would also be helpful to review your GRBL settings. In the console, type $$ and hit return. This should spit back a bunch of text in that scrollable console window. Highlight all the text, then copy and paste here, so we can review. Let’s start there…
I have the same issue as Melissa. It will frame perfect, but when I tell it to start it moves away from where it framed and starts the job way off mark. I am currently running a HP Envy with Intel I7 with windows 11 and operating a xTool D1 Pro 20w. I followed what you told Melissa to do and have listed it. I am very new to this and help would be greatly appreciated.

Any ideas?
I suspect this is a combination of 2 things:
- Startup procedure - how to manually home when you start the machine
- Use of User Origin or Current Position. I suggest until you’re very familiar with the operation of your laser and LightBurn that you stick to Absolute Coords.
