Lightburn is stopping during the execution of a job, it was working just fine, but I don’t know what might have changed. It seems to stop at different places on both the same and different jobs. I have a Two Trees Tts engraver (grbl) and am running light burn on a MacBook Pro. It feels like the stream stops because the buffer is is full, but never starts again as the buffer empties.
It’s absolutely possible that it’s doing what you feel it’s doing.
@JoeSpanier is looking at a FluidNC device with the same ESP32 microcontroller that has a buffer problem like you’re describing.
Are you connecting with USB or wirelessly?
I’m.connected via USB. After some experimentation, I’ve concluded that the problem is with the controller. I experienced the same problem using both a MAC and Windows computer. I also had the engraver and USB stick with the files on it plugged into a USB hub. Copied the files to the hard drive and plugged the engraver directly into the computer and the problem went away.
