Lightburn Taking my LASERGRBL Settings from last job!

EARLIER TODAY: ( sorry for the novel!!)

Anybody else run into this issue? I was using lightburn yesterday without any issue at all…Finally!! Its been a constant battle with Error 24!! ( 2 G codes sent etc. ) I’ve switched out the USB plug, No cameras, no phones, no radio etc. in the room to cause any interference. USB plug is secured (taped) Saving my files as .lbn instead of the lbn2 as suggested…(seems line art as fill doesnt want to work but .pngs work fine)

I had to do some engraving and cutting together in the same file… and like I said it was working great all day yesterday. I ended my day burning a large file that I only trusted to do in laserGRBL. Welllllll… I turn on the pro this morning and open lightburn and absolute coordinates seems to be the coordinates I had from doing the last burn in laserGRBL. So from my home position I’ve had to use “current position” to get it to start from the home position!! It won’t clear Origin and let me go from absolute. I deleted the preferences in the folders to hopefully set back to default…and that didnt work…

Next, my laser didn’t seem to be at full power and wasn’t even close to cutting through my material at the same setting I had yesterday! Cleaned my laser with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol…found nothing really on it… After powering up the laser again it seemed to be at full power again. So I was able to start cutting again but it stopped midway because I ignored the out of bounds error…(because it was at the home position area and was clearly not out of bounds…)
Giving up , I moved my material to where the laser wanted to start and it cut fine…
So then for giggles…I closed Lightburn…opened up LaserGRBL…
I imported a little file and set the origin to home, saved it, exited out of LaserGRBL, opened up LIghtburn and I had my absolute coordinates back but Laser Power has dropped again!! So I think Lightburn is taking my power setting from my last job on LaserGRBL. any body know why???!! and how to stop it from happening again?!!
