I’m new here so learning as I go. I currently use CAD software (Carbide Create) and my software mirrors my machine. So, when editing a project the bottom left is the bottom left on the CNC bed. I understand the homing is different and my machine homes to upper right where the limit switches are…
However, when I design something on Lightburn and it shows 0/0 as bottom left… the machine recognizes that as the upper right with the image upside down. Not sure how this happen, but is this a software change?
Running the latest version of Lightburn and a Ruida Controller Omtech 60W autofocus.
I checked and the origin is set to the lower left in every setting that I found. The odd part still is that the job is done upside down, not just in the wrong corner.
Sorry, must not have had my coffee. I changed the origin to what you suggested, but I ended up needing to go back to the controller settings from the initial software syncing and do it. I’m checking now to see if that flipped the images as well. Thanks again for your help.
Not sure why. Once I re-connected the controller from the initial syncing with Lightburn with the proper origin everything worked as it should. Thank you for your help! I’m not sure why changing it within device settings never worked.
