Lightburn turns on my Sony Bluetooth stereo receiver

Title pretty much says it all. Whenever I start Lightburn it turns on my multi-room Sony stereo receiver that my computer streams to through Bluetooth.
Any way to stop that?

Is the Sony receiver setup as a Bluetooth serial device? If you push the Port pulldown in Laser window, does the Sony receiver port show up there?

If so, maybe it’s from LightBurn scanning for available ports. You may be able to avoid this by changing the order of operations for shutdown and startup.

Startup:

  1. Turn on laser with USB connected
  2. Start LightBurn
  3. If not already, make sure to select the port of the laser

Shutdown:

  1. Shutdown LightBurn
  2. Turn off Laser
  3. Disconnect

As long as the laser is available when LightBurn starts up it should default to the last used Port.

If you play Ozzy or AC/DC backwards will your laser engrave a devil? Im sorry I couldn’t help myself.

The thing is, I don’t even have a laser hooked up to that computer, I use it for design because it has a large monitor.
But your suggestion got me thinking and since Lightburn won’t let you run it without configuring a laser, I just re-configured the laser, made it network connected with a dummy IP Address, and all is well now.
Thanks.
