Hi, machine has been working fine today and previously. Something cropped up and I removed it from lightburn. After switching everything off and back on, lightburn cannot find my device. When searching for it it only searches up to 30% then appears to get stuck. It then shows lightburn as ‘not responding’. I cant seem to get past this. Every cable connected as it should be. Please help with suggestions if you can! What a nightmare Im having…
Currently got LB version 1.7.08
Should be up to date as it does it automatically.
Please help if you can.
Thanks
Aiden
I believe you need to install the .lbdev file provided by them in order for Lightburn to see it..
Perhaps going through the Troubleshooting
steps for that situation will help:
Apparently Laserpeckers can be cranky about their connections:
Somebody who’s successfully gotten theirs to work may have better suggestions.
The LBDev (LightBurn Device) file is still available from the manufacturer:
https://support.laserpecker.net/hc/en-us/articles/7639480826895-LaserPecker-LX1-Operation-Guide-with-LightBurn
You may still have this file on your computer.
This is probably the cleanest way to get going again..
I’m curious, Do you have pictures of what was produced? If it’s weird jagged lines on curves, removing the device from LightBurn may not address the unwanted behavior.
Hi thanks for suggestion. I have treid to open the lbdev file but with no success. Any further ideas? Im not great with computers but getting there…
Appreciate any input
Thanks for the link. Ill have a look.
No, what happened was I found a couple of small bolts that had worked loose. I stopped the machine, switched it off and tightened them up. Upon switching it back on the head wouldnt leave the y axis. Never had any problems with it previously and its been working absolutely fine. I couldnt seem to address this issue so decided to remove it and reconnect it. I thought it was an easy process to find my laser…but obviously not as straightforward as Id have hoped!
Man, what a carry on. Ive got quite a bit to get on with.
Appreciate your time pal
Thankyou for info, trying what I can at present
Appreciate it.
