Lightburn update not overriding original lightburn version

I am running Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS

I am using Lightburn 1.4.05 and decided to update to lightburn 1.7.03. I have installed 1.7.03 and succesfully launched it. Whilst I am usingin Lightburn 1.7.03 I go to the toolbar (botom of the screen) right click on the Lightburn icon and add to favourites. I then close down Lightburn and when I click on the iLightburn icon on the toolbar it takes me to version 1.4.05 not 1.7.03. I can still launch Lightburn 1.7.03 if I go the folder I downloaded the 1.7.03 update to and click on approriate icon. Can anybody tell me how to delete version 1.4.05 or link the icon on the toolbar to 1.7.03.
Cheers,
John

Can’t just delete the 1.4.05 version?

Good point Claude but with my limited Linux knowledge I can not find the original fil.

I know nothing of Linux. Are applications not stored in the same directory?
Is it possible to do a search for “LightBurn”?
