I just downloaded v2.1.03 (and 2.1.01) for Mac and notice the large increase in the app file size. V1.7 was approximately 87 MB, V2.0 was about 178 MB. Now version 2.1 weighs in at 683 MB. Is it the user interface that is growing rapidly? Kind regards ingmarh
Yes, 277 is correct for the disk image, 683 MB for the unpacked app. Disk Images for earlier versions were 37 and 72 MB. So same observation applies. Huge increase in file size. Just curious if it is possible to avoid taking up valuable SSD space.
With typical SSD (and HD) storage methods typically 254gb**+** these days, you should not be in a free space crunch. Unless you collect images and videos for a hobby.

Could be related to web tools interface. My point is that computers with SSD typically have much less storage than before. So it is beneficial to think about the footprint, especially when we have exponential growth that possibly could be contained with a little consideration. Getting a larger drive used to be easy. That path is more difficult now.
