Good morning. This is me grasping at straws.
I use Lightburn with my Comgrow 5W laser. I noticed some connection issues popping up last week. i.e., LightBurn wouldn’t recognize laser without retort, reconnections, unplug/replug, etc. Well, suddenly the laser has stopped burning. Could be a hardware issue, or burnt out I suppose. But coincidental given the recent issues I suppose. Laser will move as though it’s working, but will not burn materials. Comgrow is a zero response right now. So before I go buy a new laser need suggestions to see if it’s truly hardware issue. Laser is just 1 year old.
I have pulled the laser, cleaned it, reconnected.. everything seems to be in working order.
Any suggestions welcome.
