I just renewed my license and finished the downloading and installing the latest update. I now can not connect to my laser. It worked before and I can see by looking at the hardware list that my laser is connected. All I see is “waiting for connection” and "Port failed to open - already in use? error.
Restarted both program and computer with same issue.
Any ideas?
Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled Lightburn to my previous version (1.0.01) and was the only way I can connect to my laser now. If I try to switch ports it will not let me connect to my laser again unless I reboot the program. I am using GRBL 1.1f if that helps. Just confused to what changed in the update and then what stayed changed when I reverted back.
Hopefully I can get through this to start enjoying the benefits of the update.
