Lightburn will start job then stop cutting and freeze, the green progress bar is stuck and i have to shut everything down and reopen to get it to work

Also since this has been happening sometimes when i hit stop job it will freeze things and the progress bar. The job will actually stop but it takes about 10 seconds then things freeze.

Ive never had a single problem like this in years and was wondering what you all thought.

I just recently replaced the tube and power supply so maybe i messed with somerhing? I changed usb cords and that seemed to help but not 100%, could it still be the cord? I have a new one on order.

Yes, a strong possibility. Buy a shielded USB cable with ferrites (knots) on it, and limit the length to about 10 feet.

Thank you, i just ordered a high quality cord with ferrites. This might be a stupid question but would wrapping a cord with aluminum foil prevent interference?

Not unless it is grounded and it would be very easy to damage. The foil provides protection from currents induced by static. For interference from magnetic fields, twisted wire pairs are used with ferrites providing extra protection…
