I finished setting up the camera. And needless to say, i’m impressed. Not only did it calibrate the 160 degree lens perfectly, it overlays the picture perfectly. What you see is my bed with my homemade grid lasered on a cardboard stock with glass over the top. If you look at the picture close, the grid is perfectly vertical and horizontal!

I’m at the Midwest RepRap Festival, and met someone yesterday with a Glowforge who says their camera system has never gotten him closer than 3mm, and that he was told 3 to 6mm is normal. For something as heavily marketed as it is, I was shocked that it’s not better than that.
