So I have a k40 with a Cohesion3D and a new fl-690 with a Ruida. The problem I’m having is the low power cut lines are coming out bad on the Ruida but fin one the cohesion3d. Same file I just abjusted the power and speed setting. One on the left is k40 right fl-690W. What else am I missing?
It looks like the Ruida controller doesn’t have Min Power set high enough, so when the controller slows down for the corners, the beam is turning off completely. Start with Min Power set to about 10% of your tube wattage as a starting point when you’re doing surface marking, or if you’re cutting slow, set Min Power the same as Max Power.
