I have a 60 watt OMTech CO2 laser. I had all my settings in lightburn set then I added a second laser into the mix which is a 50 watt fiber. As I have been doing more with the fiber for awhile over time most of my settings are now for the fiber and I am trying to remember what the standard (if there is one) CO2 setting is for line interval and lines per inch. Thoughts please.
Both of these have their own device type. If these are set, then any creations of the materials library that are related should follow the device type.
If you load a Lightburn project file set to the proper device, it should load with all your previous information.
I don’t loose anything when I switch devices.
Maybe I’m not understanding you?
Mine always loads up into the fiber settings. If i open a file created with rudia settings for my co2, it still comes up in an 8x8" setup with all the settings for the fiber. If i remember to open lightburn as a new file being started, then change to the CO2 layout and build a new file or open an existing rudia file, im ok
You can change the default device to match the machine you use most often:
You must select the appropriate device before opening a file to activate all the settings for that device. That happens in the Laser
window:
If the settings for the two devices have become mixed up, due to inadvertent changes while the “wrong” one was active, it may take a while to fix them up.
