Line is working Fill does odd things, worked the other day

LB Version: 1.7.03
Running on an Asus Intel(R) Core™ i7-4500U
Xtool D1 Pro 20 watt
Xtool firmware is up to date.

Not sure what happened. I ran a couple items on Monday morning and Fill was working fine. I did a test pattern on a piece of slate as well, and it was fine.

Now, when I select a layer as Fill, the laser moves a little and goes left until it hits the limit. If I change the same object to Line, it works fine.
The preview shows it working as it is supposed to. I even tried another test pattern and it will do the text fine, but as soon as it starts to fill, it goes left and hits the limit.

I am running the projects at current position. The framing shows good too… even with a fill only object on the screen.

I am new to this, so any help is appreciated.

Can you provide the following:

  1. Full screenshot of LightBurn with your design loaded and ready to burn. Please have Cuts window and Laser window in view
  2. Screenshot of Edit->Device Settings
  3. Screenshot of Window->Preview

Attached. Thanks for the help.

This is a leather cut for a simple keychain I am making for my brother.

The settings screen you’re showing is for Edit->Settings. Instead, can you go to Edit->Device Settings and take a screenshot there? I suspect there’s a setting there that it causing your issue and would like to confirm.

Can you also confirm whether or not you’re ever moving the laser head by hand after the homing process has completed?

I believe the highlighted Initial Offsets are the source of your issue.

Try redoing these with an Offset of 0. That should address the root of what’s going on.

That worked! Thank you very much.
