I’m experiencing a 4-5 second pause/delay after each object/cut on any line layer. Advanced Layer settings have both Start and End pause set to 0 (zero). Not sure where this pause/delay is configured? Current job, I’m cutting 300 tiny holes @ 5 seconds per = very annoying. Any suggestions on how to change this behavior will be greatly appreciated.
Perhaps upload your file so we can put a fresh set of eyes on it.
It happens with every file, every line layer. Thinking it must be a default setting somewhere. Equally confused why the 0ms pause is being ignored ???
same behavior with and without Cut Through enabled/disabled…
I would think disabling cut through would be the answer. That function enables a pause at the chosen end of a cut. Try this. Disable cut through, save the file, then close Lightburn and reopen the file and verify cut through is off and try again. Be aware that all layer settings are saved with the file, so if you have other files woth that enabled, you will need to disable and resave the file.
thanks for the link, was reading that page earlier trying to troubleshoot this. Tried your suggestion; same behavior
What does the preview window show?
Upload your file.
Edit: What method are you using to start the file? Start button in Lightburn or send, then start from controller?
How many files are stored on your controller? That can sometimes cause issues as well.
SOLVED: Controller Auxiliary Air setting had a 5000ms post cut air-on setting enabled - although the air on post cut was not staying on for that 5 seconds. Set that setting to zero. Now works as expected.
I appreciate your time assisting!!
