When i try and do letters i get a line from letter to letter. I already have $32=1 set but i still get it. Im a complete newbie to lasers and lightburn. Can someone please help
Are you positive that $32 is set to 1? That’s the most common.
Sorry it took so long to get back. Been nuts here. Yes im sure i have $32 set to 1.
What are your other settings? If you also have $30 and $31 set to the same value, for example, it will do this.
I have $30 set to 45 and $31 set to 0
45? That might be the problem. Default is 1000. Read the first bullet point here in “Short Version”:

I got it. I didnt know that i had to also put $32=1 into the console after going into machine settings and doing it there
You don’t. They are both doing the same thing, just using a different interface to do it. In both cases, you are changing a setting in the firmware on your motion control board.
