I use a diode laser. On text, I use a crosshatch and for the graphics, I do 2 passes. This takes care of the lines. Also it is worth double checking your line interval or DPI. That is what is giving you the lines.
I’m not certain what is happening here.
Please use the Ellipse tool and draw a simple circle. Then engrave the reject tumbler as a test. With simple geometry we may have a clearer vision of what’s happening.
