Lining up clock number to a circle

I am searching and wading into new territory. This may be a simple answer. I am designing clocks, etc. When I add numbers, I want them to be symmetrical and the same distance from the edge of the clock. I can do a horizontal and vertical alignment, but is there a trick to selecting all of the numbers and getting them the same distance from the edge? They have to be lines up before I group them and use the center tool. I have been measuring but that takes too much time. If I change the font or size, every thing goes out of whack and I have to “center-line up” again.

Not a real answer to the question, but you could circumvent the problem by using a generator: :wink:

I might suggest reviewing the combination of Radial Array and Variable Text to help generate what you are after. :slight_smile:
