Linux install issues

I am using Debian, and I am trying to update my Lightburn install to the latest version. My license where it allows me to update is going to expire in a few days. I tried running the .run file. Didn’t work. I also tried using the alternate install method with the apprun, which is how I originally installed it. I enabled executing for the lightburn app file itself, but it won’t run. Do I need to remove the old lightburn? Is that why it isn’t working. Thing is, with the apprun, it doesn’t actually install it per se, so I don’t quite know what to do other than to wipe my system.

Answered my own question. You have to install/reinstall a linux library by running

apt install libxkbcommon-x11-0

as root
