Live Background Image

Is there a way to make lightburn keep the background image updated automatically. I think in a way it could be a bad thing as it could allow people to run the machine unattended. I just want to be able to record portions of the burn to help with some instructional videos.

Thanks

Basically, no, perhaps because processing the raw camera image into the rectilinear & aligned image on the workspace requires considerable computing grunt that doesn’t run at any reasonable frame rate.

I stuck another camera in the front corner of the platform where it has a better view of the proceedings for use during remote makerspace meetings:

Something like that might work for your machine, too.

Greetings
I thought so. Could you tell me which camera you used? I think that will work and it will be easy to install it now that I have a pc mounted in the laser. I connect to it using Remote Desktop and it works great.
Thank You

It was randomly chosen from my Big Box o’ USB Cameras. The yellowed label only says it’s a Logitech V-U0027, which a casual search suggests is a completely obsolete C615.
