Decided to do couple items with Living Hinge. Both items are 3mm MDF. Box is sealed, Cell Stand has two applications of red enamel. Boiled linseed oil on the hinges front and back.
Box measures 4" x 4" x 4" - Cell stand is 5" tall x 3.25" wide. Stand will hold phones, iPad as well as hard back book.
