I have a laser master 2 pro and I’m having what I’ll call an ‘Over Burn’ issue. The laser is lightly burning 1/16 inch past project edges. Wondering if I have a lightburn setting on I’m unaware of or something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Are you using OverScann setting
If so image is engraving with what dithering mode? Grayscale?
If so, what Power MIn you set?
Also, could you $$ in console and copy the whole contents here?
interesting your min value is grayed out at 20%, no wonder you getting some overburn

Could you double click the layer so we can see the full settings page?
You’re better off using one of the ‘dithering’ style image modes, e.g. Jarvis for images.
Greyscale essentially scales the power to try and get darker and lighter areas, and it’s not as accurate or pretty as the dithering, because darkness isn’t scaled linearly with power.
Greyscale mode is best for 3D engravings on CO2 machines where you want deeper and shallower areas. An alternative name for greyscale mode might be “power scaling”, if it helps to think of it like that.
