I am trying to engrave this image and not sure what setting on my Boss laser LS 1420 to use to get it to look clean and readable

It’s going to depend on your specific machine and the material you’re intending to engrave. Step 1 is material test and making sure you have a sufficient quantity of otherwise perfectly good identical material to damage or destroy in testing.
You can get some guesses here but the Material Test is the key step.
