Having issues getting my Loklik laser to connect to Lightburn. I have installed the driver and tried to use the USB connection even tried the find my laser option and nothing. Once connected to the USB it says my laser maybe paused or busy but it’s not doing anything. Help please. I’ve had this laser for months now and haven’t been able to use it.
Welcome to the “Right Place”.
First try to create your Device using the Manual method. It is very simple and fast. Select GRBL as your device type.
If that does not work:
Does your MacBook Air use a USB-C connector? Or is it a USB-A v3.0? MAC’s are notorious for not downshifting from USB 3.0 to the USB 2.0 protocol required by the laser.
Try this: Buy the cheapest USB-A to USB-A hub you can find. Then order cables, if needed, to hook it to the PC and the laser.

I have ordered both the hub and cables. When they come in I will try this. And update you to let you know if this has worked. Crossing my fingers.
