Longer 36W won't home when rotary is attached

I don’t usually use the rotary. I bought it for my 10 watt longer so I am using it on my 36 W. This laser has limit switches and I’m not use if that’s the problem. The home button doesn’t work correctly when not using the rotary. I think it hits the limit switch when it homes. Can anyone give me some sense of what this means. It was working a little bit yesterday but everything was squashed so a circle was an oval. Thanks

On my Ortur Lasermaster, I have to trigger the Y limit switch manually with my finger when the rotary device is in use.

This usually means that the Rotary mode is on. Please verify by clicking Laser Tools, then click Rotary Setup, then turn off Enable Rotary and carefully click OK because it’s easy to close the window and overlook the change.

The Rotary Tool doesn’t have a limit switch. This firmware is more advanced than the regular GRBL and can be customized. It may be overlooking the Limit switch if it’s still in Rotary mode. After confirming Rotary mode is off retest homing. If it behaves as if the switch isn’t present it may be plugged in incorrectly or there may be a broken wire.

Here the PX means the Limit Switch for the X-Axis is active. Is the head of the engraver activating that switch?

I got out my 10W with for the rotary and it works fine. I can’t do anything with my 36w. It seems to be backwards now and I’ll make a new post for it. Thank you for the previous help.
