Longer Nano Pro Wifi issue with Lightburn

Hello everyone!

I am using a Longer Nano Pro laser machine, but i have some issues with Lightburn with wifi.

My laser connects to LB via wifi, i can frame, i can do anything, except to start burning.

Error message in the console:

error: Bad GCode number format
error: Gcode modal group violation

If i switch back to USB mode in the settings, its works fine.

Any idea what did i miss with the settings?
Updated the machine FW and the wifi drivers too, nothing seems working.

Thank you for helping.

This is your solution. WIFI is not nearly as reliable as a direct wired connection.

To see why, install a WIFI Analyzer app and watch the signal curves jump up and down all the way to zero.

WIFI is not nearly as reliable as a direct wired connection.

Yeah i see, but i like to use wifi, almost neved had any issue with OLM3 via wifi.

Also i forgot to mention, with the longer laser app it does work perfectly with wifi, it seems Lightburn have some issues only.

  1. WIFI can be very position sensitive. Mving a device even 6" can make a big difference.
  2. Manufacturer provided apps could work better because they have access to the controller source code, and use proprietary information. Lightburn does not.
  3. Saying one brand should work because another did is not a valid comparison

What I am suggesting is that the new laser is the variable, not Lightburn.

I got your point, and thank you for your answers, Im still looking forward to fix this somehow, if someone else met with same issue and found a solution, please let me know.
