Longer Ray 5 10w NOT connecting with Macbook Air

I am unable to get my MacBook Air to connect to my Longer Ray 5 10w using Lightburn.

I don’t have a clue where the problemn could be.

I’ve searched he forums and have found nothing that has worked - anyone have any suggestions?

I have spent hours on this and am ready to just return the engraver. Mac support seems to be severely lacking.

Apple Silicon MacBook Air?
if so you might need a cheap 2.0 USB Hub in between Mac and Laser

Open a terminal

Unplug your USB cable

Type this command and press enter

ioreg -p IOUSB

Then plug the cable and power on the laser

Repeat command.
Post a image of both outputs please.
