Longer Ray 5 20W GRBL controller power %

Just bought a Longer Ray 5 20 Watt, and I am having an issue with the power settings in Lightburn. Power settings for the GRBL controller with this diode laser are 0% to 1000%, but the listing chart by the manufacture also has the Lightburn settings of 0% to 100%. The 20% wouldn’t even etch basswood, but once and only once Lightburn accepted 200% on the power and it burned perfectly. I have not been able to get Lightburn to accept the higher setting again, and I believe that 100% in Lightburn is only running 10% at the controller.

Has anyone else found a fix, or had the same problem?

Is it set to 1000 in device settings and 1000 in $30= in grbl settings?

If you had selected GRBL this should have been 1000 by default
Can you make sure you did not select GRBL M3 by mistake in the controller list?

Gil,

The GRBL was set to 1000 by default, it was under Lightburn settings that was 225 by default that had to be changed.
