Longer ray5 20w flame detection sensor

Hello, I just got my new longer ray5 20w laser engraver. It is brand new and I have been having trouble with the flame detection sensor keeps getting tripped. I have tried doing the $32=0 and everything else I can find online. In Lightburn i apparently dont have any of the settings to turn that sensor off. ill add what settings I see at the end of this. If anybody knows how to turn it off or how to manually turn it off please let me know. Thank you guys!!

That is machine specific and not in Lightburn. It will be a GRBL parameter (maybe in your list), but only the manufacture (or another Ray5 user) can supply the parameter and value.

If it is a GRBL parameter, you will be able to set it using the Machine Settings window.

In the meantime, you might try reducing the amount of light shining on the laser.

I adapted the “flame detector” function to my control board, which is an MKS DLC32, by installing specific firmware for that function. This confirms what Mike mentioned.
The sensor itself also has a sensitivity adjustment potentiometer. I don’t know if your machine has one as well.
Lightburn doesn’t have an option to activate, deactivate, or adjust the “flame detector” function.
In your place, I would contact the manufacturer, explain the difficulty in working with the machine, and ask for clarification.

Is the back of the laser facing a bright window? If so that’s triggering the flame detector
