I just mounted my new Longer Ray5 20w laser to it’s wasteboard. I haven’t had the need to raise my existing Atomstack A20 5w, to mounting it has been awesome. The usable work area doesn’t match any documentation. I found the actual limits by moving the laser manually until I got a hard limit error. The real work area is shorter one direction and longer on the other. 360mm high x 400mm wide. On my other laser and on testing on this one, the grid helps line stuff up to make framing faster as I don’t have a camera. When mass producing stuff I use taped down wooden cards to quickly change out parts. You can probably see that there are 5 extra holes on the wasteboard. They all have 5mm t-nuts on the back. I plan on making jigs for my most produced stuff, where multiple things will sit in their own little pocket to make placement flawless.
