LONGER Rotary Extender (with Riser)

Hi All,

Is there special instructions for setting up the Longer Rotary Extender on the Ray5 or is it the same for the NANO? With the first rotary roller I bought, I would have to change a parameter in the machine settings but the instructions say nothing about this for the Rotary Extender. Another problem I have is that the taper adjustment doesn’t seem to work correctly for the this one. Is it possibly because it is a chuck mount opposed to rollers?

Imagine the taper on a flat surface that wraps around the part to be engraved. Roller or chuck should not make a difference.

You do not say which parameter had to be changed. You have to disable the Homing parameter because there is no limit switch in a rotary.
