Lost Home on my lasermatic 20 watt

I finished one project laser went Home bottom left. I started the next one. I hit frame and it went hard top right. Got a alarm cannot find limit switch and will not go home it chatters and goes to bottom center. Please help if you can

Power it down, put the laser module in the center, power it up, then hit the Home button.

What does it do?

I did what you said it went to home and moved to the right to the 11 inch mark on the grid and stoped without stopig at home

I would say you hit home instead of frame the first time. Seems it’s not tripping the homing switches.

Not sure how far that is from the Home position.

With the laser powered up and sitting in the middle somewhere, enter this command in the Console window: ?

Then manually hold both switches closed and enter ? again.

Copy the two lines that have the |MPos: text in them and paste in a Reply.

The posting was to check the limit switches for proper operation. Please post the results when you can.

I tried several times to send home limitswitch hits post at home and goes back to 11 inches on the machine grid. Could the limitswitch be bad? I know they don”t last for ever and are they still available from Roley or another supplyer?

How are we going to know without testing?
