Low Laser output with Ruida Controller

Hello, I have a problem with LightBurn since a few days ago.

Whenever I try to cut something with LightBurn, the Laser is very weak.
When I use any other App this problem doesn’t occur
I reinstall LightBurn and the controllers and It didn’t work

I have no idea why this problem started. I didn’t change any settings. I have tried to find information to solve this problem, but I don’t find any info related to Ruida Controller with this problem

Does anyone have any suggestion?

Laser machine: Gweike Cloud Basic II

The Gweike Ruida apparently runs a customized firmware. Mine is a similar 6442g model and I don’t know of anything a user can set in Lightburn that will cause this.

Some of these are only accessible via the a console, which eliminates access.

The only thing I can suggest is a voltmeter on the pwm pin and see if it’s actually occurring in the Ruida… Don’t know if it’ll buy you much at this point.

Are you sure it works correctly with other software and only fails with Lightburn?

@BillieRuben has one of these animals… giver her a chance to respond, maybe she knows something…

I have tried with Gweike could online app and RDworks. Both apps don’t have any problems when I need to cut something

I have used lightburn for a year and this is the first time I have this kind of problem.
I think the laser machine doesn’t have any problem

It seems that the problem is only LightBurn.

I can’t think of how the two would differ.

The only suggestion I have is to measure the voltage. If it’s lower power, then it should show that and the Lightburn people would have something to go on…

I agree, it all you say is true, it would point towards an issue with Lightburn.

From my knowledge of these and other controllers, I’d check what could be configured incorrectly and I don’t know what you could change in Lightburn to make this happen.

I think we need to wait on @BillieRuben or @JohnJohn to see if they have even heard of this issue… It’s a weekend, so keep your pants on… :face_with_spiral_eyes:

I’m at a loss at the moment as what to pursue, other than check the voltage.

I will think on it.
