LOW Laser power in lightburn

I have bought recently (3 days) my laser 3 max v2 e40 and I think the laser is not at 100% of laser power.
I can use my neje 3 max v2 in lightburn, the sync is ok. I have change de $30 in machine and device both of them to 1000 but still doesn’t cut anything well, it seems the laser power is at 20% only… . The point is that in NEJE Software the laser power works properly. I need to cut 12mm dmf and i can’t do it with this settings. Please HELP.
PD I have read thousand post here talking about changing de $30 but nothing else. If there is another that i don’t see please add me the link.

Thanks in advance.

assuming you are in mm/min too, and not - by mistake in mm/sec a few sugestions

a) use lasergrbl, with known settings - to test if is a settings matter of power issue on module
b) maybe do same with neje software

c) check if your power adapter is the correct one
Dot Test with Angle.lbrn (46.3 KB)

Or use this file, should just mark

Thanks Gil Araújo

When you say try it in Lasergrbl, what do you mean by known configurations? Can the power be modified in lasergrbl?
Cutting with Neje the power is perfect.

Where can I change nm/min?

Edit → Settings
Best for diode mm/min

if you run a simple test with LaserGrbl with the same mm/min and power you use on neje software, then we can know is a lightburn setting issue

Everything is nm/min. Tomorrow I’ll do the test LaserGrbl Vs Neje and I give you the feedback. Thanks!

can you take picture of your layer setting in lightburn?

Hi,

Yesterday checked this settings Gil Araujo gave me but I didn’t change in this screen. Yesterday I asked Neje Support team as well and they gave me this missing step and afortunately it worked for me. :grinning: I’m very happy because this is the power of my laser.

So I hope all the people had the same problem could have the solution with this post.

Especial thank to Gil Araújo and NEJE Support Team.
