Mac OS26.3 - LB 2.0.05 Laser Disconnected Ethernet

My Set up:

Mac Mini 2023

OS 26.3

3 Lasers on a Pro LB licence:

Thunder Nova 51-100W, Thunder Aurora 5w-UV, and Thunder Aurora Lite 50W-Fiber.

Note: Not sure if this is part of my issue: EVERY time I try using LB 2.0.05, the User License Agreement must be accepted.

The 5W-UV and the 50W-Fiber both work just fine under LB 2.0.05, My Nova 51 will not connect. (Laser window reads Disconnected)

The Nova-51 & LB 1.7.08 works just fine via Ethernet. So I know it’s not the cable. When I try to run LB 2.0.05 with my Nova-51 100W, Ethernet no longer works. I did try creating a new device and connecting LB 2.0.05 to my Nova-51using USB. The machine will connect, but it operates with a VERY LONG delay.

I have a Pro License, that expires in 33 days.

Suggestions?

Thank you in advance for your time and replies.

No, only your ability to get upgrades expires. Lightburn will continue to work as-is until the computer falls off the desk.

I am guessing the Nova-51 worked until recently. This implies something changed recently, like maybe you added another laser. If you are using Ethernet, you might look at the I.P. addresses of all three machines. You may have a conflict.

If the machines connect to a LAN, rather than directly to the Mac, perhaps the router has assigned another device the same IP address as the Nova.

Turn off the Nova and ping its IP address from the Mac: if something responds to the ping, that’s the problem.

A long discussion goes over the gory details, with a discouraging, but happy, ending:

The Nova 51` still works under Lightburn 1.7.08

While you have the 2 other machines running at the same time?

I don’t know if this is part of the issue with your Nova, but it is not right. Since no staff have popped into this thread, I suggest you email support@lightburnsoftware.com with this issue and include a link tothis thread for clarification.

Are you connected directly between your Mac and the Nova via Ethernet, or is the connection through your LAN?

The IP address problem will be intermittent, so ruling it out is one more step in the process of figuring out what’s going on.
