Is lightburn compatible with MacBook Air running Monterey. Seems there’s no connection in console. Usually there is a modem port but now it’s showing a serial port.
I have a MacBook Pro running Monterey, Lightburn runs fine. I usually use the USB cable that came with the laser, and use a USB-A to USB-C converter to plug it in to the laptop. Does this information help?

See if this video will help. If it doesn’t, I suggest you try another cable. I see in your profile you have an LM2. Is this the laser you are trying to connect to, or did you. get another laser? If you got a new, CO2 laser, then it requires a small upgraded Lightburn to handle DSP processors.
