I’m a newbie to lasers. I purchased a Comgrow Z1 10w laser engraver/cutter. I’ve downloaded CH341x and it installed. When i start Lightburn and click “Find my laser” nothing appears. I have switched cables, switched between the two usb ports…still nothing. I am in contact with Comgrow but the time and response delays are dragging. Any help would be greatly appreciated as i have yet to test/play with the laser.
If you can see the device connected in System Report → Hardware → USB as well as see a port created in Terminal then it should work:
ls /dev/*usb*
You may need to manually create the device. Use GRBL as a device type with origin at front-left and your working area.
