Help please. I have been using the LB trial software and it has been perfect. I have now bought the programme, however, the laser appears to have a mind of its own. It will travel on the x and y axis to its limits and it appears to ignore any numbers I put in to stop it hitting its limits. Can anyone advise me please?
There should be no different settings when switching from trial to paid version, all functions are the same. When “upgrading” to the paid version of LightBurn, all parameters that you have used so far should be automatically taken over, i.e. there are standard locations for this data that do not change.
Have you uninstalled your trial version before installing the new one, or have you only activated the code?
LB update versions should just be installed over the existing one, conversely you can install an older version in the same way.
So if you have downloaded a new LB version, try installing the old working one again and see if your settings are ok. You can advantageously make Bundles of all your settings, including material and art libraries, the function is found in the “File” menu.
Thanks Bernd. I’ll give it another go.
I’m wondering if the limit switch configuration hasn’t changed and is currently set up without them. ![]()
I don’t have the parameter memorized right now and I don’t know which change to check or correct.
In the “console” window, in the field where you can type, type $$, press “enter”, take a screenshot of the data that will appear and post it here. Through the settings, I’m convinced it will be easier to guide you.
