Machine not following the workpiece set datum

this may be a dumb question as i’m new and trying to figure out how to run the machine.

I’m running a pocket design on Millmage, the machine has been home, and the workpiece origin is set in the centre. i have tried to run the the frame in edit mode, everything seems ok but when i run the frame mode in control mode, the frame has been move somewhere else. and not according to the set workpiece datum. what could be the issue?

You do not say how you set it in the center. And how you did set it can cause the issues you describe.

If you leave the Origin in one corner, usually where you Home the machine, then the cutting area will pretty much duplicate from the design area in MillMage. In other words, It is like you are looking down through the MillMage design grid onto the CNC table.
