When I log onto the laptop that runs my laser as a different user, the settings for my machine are not there. I was able to add the actual laser to the setup on the new user account but the settings that had been customized on the original user account are gone. Things like bidirectional a can offset settings that I would like to carry over without having to manually enter them. Is there something other than the prefs.ini folder that I can move to retain these settings?
It’s the prefs.ini file that carries all of it. Just make sure you quit LightBurn before you replace the file on a machine - LightBurn saves that file on shutdown to store the window layout.
That fixed it. I had copied the file without closing the program and it must have overwritten it. Thanks for the prompt reply.
