Machine won't home on x or y axis after a job. Nor will it go to the location I put in for the finishing position

I have an atomstack a70 that wont’ home to xy or go to a finished location. On the machines screen after a job is complete it has a message "machine exceeds maximum range of motion. When I click close on the screen it will then home xy. The z axis homes after completing the job.

This is what is in the console after the job is finished.

Two G-code commands that both require the use of the XYZ axis words were detected in the block.

Thanks.

It appears that your design is going beyond the physical limits of your machine, either because it’s too big or placement on the work area.

Please post a screenshot of your entire Lightburn screen with your project loaded and the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible. Also post a screenshot of the Settings Window (Gears icon) with the Units and Grids tab visible and post a screenshot of the Device Settings Window (Wrench and Screwdriver icon). Also post a pic of your project on your laser.

I have a video of the job running, it ran fine but same issue after completing.
Thanks for the assistance.

Only thing I see here. May or may not be an issue but you have your dimensions as 800x850, on the Atomstack site it lists as 850x800.

You need to post the video to Youtube or Vimeo or some other hosting and link to it to put it on the forum.

Ok, thanks. I changed it. Tried re-running the job it moved over to the position of the job and posted this.ALARM:1

I hit home on the laser tab and it went to the home position, then tried to re-run and it did fine, homed z and then stopped.

Type $$ and enter in the console and post results

I looked at the z axis and it was all the way up against the z limit switch instead of going up and bumping and coming back down to the z home position.

Here are the results.

I don’t know anything about an automatic Z axis, sorry.

Did you change any of these settings, either in console or the Machine Settings dialog?

This confirms that you had your dimensions inverted. $130=850.000 - X axis

$131=800.000 - Y axis.

I have set up my z axis to use the offset so the z will automatically adjust for engraving/cutting. I will go back through that process and see if I missed anything. Thanks for you help.

I turned my z axis off and it corrected the issue. The machine now goes to the finished position I put in and if I turn off finished position it goes to the home position, so I need to figure out what is the issue with the z axis adjustment. Thanks again for the help.
