MacOS-Lightburn, re intel based Apps

This question may have already been asked, but couldn’t find an answer.

I have recently updated the MacOS laptop that connects to my lasers to an Apple M4 Based chip, my previous laptop was an Intel based version. Im now getting the following message at the top of my screen when running both the latest version or the latest Beta.

Is this something that will be fixed in a new version of Lightburn ?

Thanks, Ian

Work is currently underway. Please note that the message is a warning for future OS release.

Thanks for the reply and the great work by LightBurn @Rick, yes I did realise it was a warning for future releases of the OS. On doing a search I couldn’t find any mention of it in the forum, hence my question.

Thanks Ian

All good, glad you reached out.

How does it work that my subscription already expired? Will I still be able to get the apple silicon update or I need to add another year of udpates to my license to receive this update?

You’ll need to update to a newer version of LightBurn to get the version compiled for ARM silicon. If your license is expired, you’d need to renew to get that release.

Intel Apps will be good until MacOS 28 in Fall of 2027
