MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1 - Lightburn not working

Hey everyone I am trying to download light burn IMAC 24 INCHES 2023 - SONOMA 14.3.1 but not matter how many times it doesn’t work and I cant download it, any help?

Welcome and sorry to hear you are not finding success. We should be able to help with this.

First, where did you go to try downloading? You will want to go to: Download / Trial – LightBurn Software

Help us “see” what may be happening. What are you seeing? Any messages or warnings presented? If so, what do those say? What do you mean, exactly, when saying “it doesn’t work”? Are you connected to the internet?

Please provide as much detail as you can to help us “see” what you are experiencing and we can go from there.

And again, welcome.

Hey thank you for answering me, I downloaded the download trial, everything downloads but when I press the red icon ( light burn icon ) to open it says downloading and then it goes to the full bar but nothing else comes up , and then when I try again the whole announcement square just comes up clear doesn’t show the bar of the downloading or anything else. I can send a screen shot around 3 when I get home.

When I hit the download button from our site, I get the following Finder window allowing me to select the location to save the downloaded file. The file should have a .dmg file extension.

Then open Finder and navigate to the location of the saved file, then double-click the downloaded file to start the installation of LightBurn.

This section, along with the rest of our documentation, is worth review.

Yes ive done that, i have 5 computers who all have lightburn but this is the only one with that issue. anything else i can do ?

or either the one that says downloading not now, and stays stuck on it.

after downloading this is what I get and gets stuck like nothing else… idk what to do …

I GOT IT !!! the computer needed to install something called ROSETTA so it installed that and boom it worked. thank you so much

FYI, Rosetta is the translation layer in MacOS that allows applications made for x64 architecture to run on ARM. This is necessary since Apple moved to their own CPU designs a few years ago. LightBurn does not have a native ARM build currently.

Where is this ROSETA?

My Mac is intel, Lightburn is already installed, but I can’t see com ports: “machine is waiting to connect”.

Why are you asking about Rosetta?

As for the com ports, what shows when you select the ‘Ports’ dropdown? You may need to install a driver to support your machine. You show “girl” as the firmware, which I am unaware.
