Main work screen

Hi gang. Hard to explain. If I open Lightburn to the work area, it won’t let me shrink it. There’s no red exit or minimize.
Machine: xtool d1 pro 10 w.
Controller: Gcode
Firmware: GRBL
Latest Version: Yes
Issue: New
Computer: Hp ProBook 430 - G4
Operating: Windows 11

Hi @beardedbrad

Pressing F12 in LightBurn will reset the window layout — worth a quick try — but it won’t actually resize the main program window.

If you’re missing the minimize/exit buttons or can’t shrink the window, two things to check:

  • In Windows Settings → System → Display, make sure your Display resolution is set to the recommended/native value (1366 × 768 on your HP ProBook 430 G4).
  • In LightBurn, go to Edit → Settings → Display tab → Font Size. If this is set too large, it can push the title bar controls off-screen. Try lowering it and restarting LightBurn to see if the buttons return.

This is also under investigation as a possible bug affecting some users on version 2.0.03, so you may be seeing that issue.

Let us know if adjusting those settings brings the controls back.

Thank you very much.
After doing research i found a tip to correct this. By holding down the shift button and opening lightburn will also do the same.
Cheers Brad.
