backup files keep generating after deleting and after closing program.
Lightburn makes a backup file when it runs…
When you launch it and a backup file is present it will ask if you wish to use it.
If the software exits properly, it removes the backup file.
Can you be more specific on what’s happening…
not really. exactly like i stated. delete backup file, it keeps coming back. even after i’ve exited the program. i have to restart my computer to keep it from reappearing.
What kind of laptop (os) do you have. I think if you have to re-boot it’s an os issue… I’ve run all their stuff and have never had this issue.
Maybe @berainlb can suggest something to isolate the issue to your machine or the software…
it’s not a laptop this is happening with. it’s really strange, i just have to keep deleting the backup file over and over and over.
Is that the name of the file you are editing, removing the backup part?
Are you running Lightburn in between and no errors when you exit?
the name of the file was ‘black’. lightburn itself runs fine with no errors, except for the backup file issue. once i close a program i wouldn’t expect it to continue creating files on its own.
Me neither… Maybe @Rick can comment on a reasonable procedure to help out…
