Making a clean pattern

Hey Folks
I just added a camera to my fibre, to use to clean some old tools. But as a leaner to this, I am not sure the best way to go about making an exact pattern that outlines the object. What tool would you folks suggest for getting the best outline? The image is just one tool I want to try it on then engrave.

You can trace your hammer and use it as a basis.
