I received with my fiber galvo machine a “markcfg7” file .
Although I didn’t use EZCad at all I directly imported the file into LightBurn.
Do I still need to do these things such as: Lens Correction , Lens Distortion, Timing and Delay, Red Light Pointer Alignment and so?
Or does the “markcfg7” file already contain all these settings and I don’t need to touch anything?
This confuses me, what is your suggestion?
Thanks again!
The markcffg7 file is all I did on both of my machines. I did do some test’s and measurements to make sure
Thank you for the answer. Can you please recommend what tests I should do to make sure everything is accurate?
In the laser tools tab there is now a Galvo calibration tool. I did similar but this will be easy for you.
Thank you I will try this.

Draw a few squares/rectangles/circles and ensure they measure square and are the right size, including the circle being round and the right size.
If they are, then you don’t need to change anything.
The config file should have everything you need for that specific lens.
