Material cut test

So with the new update. We can now perform a material test.
I am testing cuts on foam. The spacing between the squares is to little and its blasting the adjacent square out.
Is there a way to increase this spacing? Idea for next update???
Thks,

Try setting the kerf offset to a negative number in “Edit material settings.” See my setting for my material test that makes for more space between squares.

Someone asked about this and they were going to add that to the options…

@patricr does the kerf thing work on the materials test?

I’m just starting to play with it…

I will have to try this when back home.
I could never get the material test to work. I am glad to see it built into lightburn now.

The negative kerf setting shown IS in the material settings of “Material Test.” The result is smaller boxes with more space in between them. Unchanged kerf offset:

Negative kerf offset:

I saw it. It surprised me to see it available. I just started messing with it, as I got some new 3mm plywood.

Thanks for pointing out the ability…
