I have a Diode Laser - no camera.
Ran Material Test using a 12" piece of material, the question/problem: Using a 12" stock. I would like the Material Test result to be cut out of the at the end of the test. I can’t find an option to accomplish that task.
There isn’t an option for this in 1.4.x. the recently available beta 1.5 adds it, however.
One way is to save the Gcode generated by the Material Test Generator, then open the Gcode file by importing the gcode.
Draw a box around the Material Test area and set power and speed etc as required to cut through using a different Cut/Layer setting to C00.
Mark C00, the material test area as imported info as Output OFF.
Save or run the Gcode of just the cutout after completion of the Material Test run.
Bound to be other ways to do this.
